Velma Moody

  Velma Moody, 69, of Marthaville, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 19,
in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, after a short illness.

  The funeral was at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, in Marthaville
First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Berly, and the Rev.
Sam Giddens officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband, Jesse R. Moody of Marthaville;
three sisters, Marie Anders of Pineville, and Mrs. Bill Trenholm,
and Annie Lee Pullig, both of Shreveport; and one brother, J. B.
Law of Frankston, Tex.
