Ocie Edgar Mott

  Mr. Ocie Edgar Mott, 56, of Mt. Carmel, died in Many, on Aug. 9,
1987.

  Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, at 4 p.m., Aug.
11, with Rev. J. D. Brown officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Doris Mott of Mt. Carmel; two
daughters, Paula Matthews of Florien, and Gail Miller of Grand
Chenier; four brothers, J. L. Mott of Zavalla, Tex., L. J. Mott
of Houston, Tex., Lester Mott of Splendora, Tex., and Clyde Mott
of Graham, Washington; two sisters, Leola Higdon of Lufkin, Tex.,
and Lula Mott of Houston, Tex.; and numerous grandchildren.
