"Ray" Moody Funeral services for Mr. Raymond E. "Ray" Moody, 67, of Florien, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at Ft. Jesup Cemetery, with Full Military Honors, conducted by Ft. Polk. The burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Moody was born on August 16, 1928, to Maudie Lietch Moody, and Jessie Moody in Pritchett, Colo., and died Monday, Feb. 26, at his residence in Florien. He was retired from the U. S. Army, and Civil Service Duty at Ft. Polk. Survivors include his wife, Pearl Moody of Florien; two sons, Raymond E. Moody of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Stephen C. Moody of New Orleans; one daughter, Lisa Kerwin of Johnson City, Tenn.; and one stepson, Harold Wisdom of Many. He is also survived by two sisters, Wanda Laws of Elgin, Texas, and Beatrice Wallace of Albuquerque, N. M.; two brothers, Jessie L. Moody of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Leo Moody of Kansas City, Kan.; and six grandchildren.
