  Mrs. Emma Miniefield Matthews, 78, of Many died Wednesday, Nov. 5 at LSU
Medical Center. Funeral services were held at Pilgrim Star Baptist Church in
Florien. Burial followed at Pilgrim Star Cemetery. Funeral services were
under the direction of Thomas Mortuary Funeral Home.
