Gayle Sharon Matthews

  Funeral services for Gayle Sharon Matthews, 49, were held on
Tuesday, February 13, at 3 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Chapel.
Interment followed in Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Winston Love officiated the
services.

  Mrs. Matthews passed away at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport,
on Feb. 11.

  She is survived by five sons, Scott Perleberg of South Carolina,
Steve Matthews of Shongaloo, Jeff Rains of Mt. Zion, Pat Matthews
of Robeline, and Mike Matthews of Natchitoches; one daughter,
Linda Baker of Shongaloo; two stepsons, Jim Matthews of
Granberry, Texas, and Chester Matthews of Baton Rouge; two step
daughters, Jennie Deshotel of Mamou, and Kathy Hewing of Houston,
Texas; one brother, John Glover of Seattle, Washington; two
sisters, Margie, and Joan; 19 grandchildren; and eight great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers include Robert Bass, Winston Deshotel, Michael
Goings, Bennie Knippers, Jeff Lee, and Gary Phelps.
