Effie France Maddox

  Funeral services for Mrs. Effie France Maddox, 92, were held at
2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel. Interment followed in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Maddox passed away at LSU Medical Center, Sept. 29.

  She is survived by three sons, J. V. Maddox of Many, and Jack
Maddox, and Charles Maddox, both of Shreveport; one daughter,
Vera Horton of Stonewall; four sisters; 13 grandchildren; 17
great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host
of nieces and nephews.

  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the
American Diabetes Association.
