Matthews Funeral services for Mrs. Linnie I. Matthews, 77, of Bossier City, who died Wednesday, Feb. 2, following a short illness, were held Friday, in the Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mrs. Matthews, a native of Many, had been a resident of Bossier City for 15 years. Officiating at the services Friday, were the Rev. Paul B. Williamson Jr., assistant pastor of First Baptist Church in Bossier, assisted by the Rev. Oliver Protho, pastor of Robeline Baptist Church, and the Rev. William D. Franks, pastor of Oakmont Church of God. Burial was in Central Cemetery near Robeline. In addition to Mrs. Carr, Mrs. Matthews is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. William Carter of Springhill, and Mrs. James H. Grant of Shreveport; four sons, Grady Matthews, and Horace Matthews, both of Bossier City, W. B. Matthews of Shreveport, and W. Harold Matthews of Natchitoches; three brothers, Ben Isgitt of Zwolle, the Rev. Henry Isgitt of Converse, and Frank Isgitt of Oak Grove; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
