Mrs. Isabel Maddox

  Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 31, for Mrs. Isabel
Maddox, 78, who died after a short illness, Tuesday, Dec. 29, in
Cleveland, Tex. The services were conducted in the Hornbeck First
Baptist Church, with the Rev. T. J. Crosby officiating. Interment
was in the Beckom Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.

  Serving as pallbearers were her nephews.

  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Leonard R. Lane of Cleveland,
Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Bertie Self of Florien, Mrs. Chester
Dabbs of Bellmead, Tex., and Mrs. Hazel Withers of Shreveport;
four brothers, J. P. Leach of Cleveland, Texas, G. C. Leach of
Calif., Glenn Leach of Edinburg, Tex., and Clarence Leach of
Hornbeck; three grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
