DONA MITCHELL

Sabine Index, Many, Louisiana. July 1996


Funeral services for Dona Mitchell, 80, of Fort Jesup, (Louisiana) were
held July 10, 1996, at 10 a.m. at Les Fontaine Funeral Home Chapel. 
Interment was at Warren Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell passed away July 8, in the Sabine Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Effie Oxley; one
son, Louis Roy Mitchell, one daughter, Sharlet Gates; and one brother,
Francis Oxley. 

Mrs. Oxley is survived by her husband, Oda Mitchell of Fort Jesup;
daughters, Ruthie Mae Jones of Many, Yvonne Jones of Blanchard, Etoyce
Peel of Cave City, Ar., Loretta Helms of Many, Dianne Jones of Stanley,
and Gail Martinez of Giddings, Tx.; sons, Buddy Mitchell of Many, Roy
Mitchell of Fort Jesup; sisters, Ethel Leggett, Nettie Mae Leach, both
of Many, one brother Herbert Oxley, also of Many, 28 grandchildren 27
great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces
and nephews and other relatives.
