The Sabine Index - Sarah Mitchell

  29 Mar 1957 - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Mitchell, 82, who
died at the home of her son near Zwolle, Wednesday, March 20, was
conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at Ft. Jesup cemetery
under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are her sons, Wilford, Arlie, and Arvil Mitchell, all
of Robeline, Odie Mitchell of Bossier City, and Lewis Mitchell of
Zwolle; daughters, Mrs. Alice Davis and Mrs. Jennie Knippers,
both of Hornbeck, Mrs. Mae Leggett, Mrs. Leona Knippers and Mrs.
Eddie Higgins all of Many; brothers Joe Mitchell, Marthaville;
sister, Mrs. Kate Veuleman of Robeline; 41 grandchildren, 59
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Mitchell
was a life long resident of Ft. Jesup.

  Pallbearers were grandson, Earnest Davis, Harold Knippers,
Junior Knippers, Ray Mitchell, Donald Wayne Mitchell and Odie
Lavern Mitchell.
