The Sabine Index - Maggie Lona Mitchell

  27 Mar 1959 - Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Lona Mitchell,
age 82, were conducted at Pruett's Chapel Baptist church at 2
p.m. Tuesday, March 24 with Rev. W. L. Leach officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are her sons, E. C. and E. W. Mitchell, both of Many;
daughters, Mrs. P. F. Hanson, Mrs. R. C. Dees, Mrs. J. J. Dees,
all of Smackover, Ark., Mrs. J. P. Jackson, Mrs. V. E. Anderson,
both of Shreveport, Mrs. Roy Manasco of Many; brothers, Buster
Mitchell of Elizabeth, Leon Mitchell of Many; 35 grandchildren,
49 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Bobby Hanson, Carlton Anderson, Jerome
Mitchell, Elton Mitchell, John Goins, Charles Mitchell, Dale Dees
and James William Dees.
