The Sabine Index - Mollie Mitchell 
  
  11 Sep 1959 - Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. in 
the Prospect Methodist church near Florien for Mrs. Mollie 
Mitchell, 76, of Leesville, who died Thursday in a local clinic. 
  
  The Rev. Johnny Mathis officiated and burial was in church 
cemetery under the direction of Hixon Funeral home of Leesville. 
  
  Survivors are one daughter, Miss Leola Mitchell of Leesville; 
two sons, Gus Mitchell of New Orleans and W. W. Mitchell of 
Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Essie Hardin and Mrs. Roy 
Slater of Florien and Mrs. Henry Brantly of Many; five brothers, 
R. E. Lee, John Lee, Cleveland Lee and Leroy Lee of Florien, and 
Rufus Lee of Beaumont, Texas; 11 grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren.
