The Sabine Index - Leon D. Mitchell 
  
  19 Jun 1959 - Funeral services for Leon D. Mitchell, age 70, who 
died at Sabine clinic, Friday, June 12, were conducted at Warren 
Funeral Home chapel at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 14 with Rev. Earl 
Warren, Jr., officiating. Interment was in the Many cemetery 
under the direction of Warren Funeral home. 
  
  Surviving relatives are son, Leon D. Mitchell, Jr., of Many; 
daughter, Mrs. Catherine, Derbonne of Many, brother, T. F. 
Mitchell of Oakdale and five grandchildren. 
  
  Pallbearers were Joe Bill McCormick, Horace Salter, J. C. 
Morris, Bernice Self, Tom Knippers and John Tarver.
