The Sabine Index - Sibley A. Mitchell 
  
  24 Jul 1959 - Funeral services for Sibley A. Mitchell, age 34, 
who died July 18, were conducted at Prewitt's Chapel at 2 p.m. 
July 20 with Rev. Picket and Rev. Robert Grahan officiating. 
  
  Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of Warren 
Funeral home. 
  
  Survivors are wife, Betty Jane Mitchell of Hornbeck, six sons, 
William C., Sibley, Jr., Robert E., Jimmy D., Emmitt C, and 
Charles Drewey Mitchell all of Hornbeck, parents Mr. and Mrs. Ed 
Mitchell of Hornbeck; brothers, Thomas, Robert and Bobby 
Mitchell, all of Houston, Texas, sister, Mrs. Rose Masters of 
Hornbeck, Mrs. Jackie Morris of Houston and Mrs. Sallie Whitlock 
of West Monroe.
