Sammie A. Mitchell

  Sammie A. Mitchell, 28, of Robeline, died in Belmont on
Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 9:03 p.m., as the result of a gunshot
wound.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Shirley Mitchell of Robeline;
three daughters, Faith Ann, Charmin Jean, and Deanna Lynn, all of
Robeline; his father, Sammie L. Mitchell of Robeline; three
brothers, David Wayne Mitchell of Houston, Texas, John W.
Mitchell of the U. S. Army in Germany, and William R. Mitchell of
Robeline; one step brother, Aubrey Lewis Mitchell of Slidell; and
one step sister, Mrs. Shirley Nelson of Lake Charles.

  Funeral services were held at the Central Baptist Church on
Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Glenn Flenniken
officiating. Burial was in the Central Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
