The Sabine Index - John R. Mitchell

  25 Jul 1952 - Funeral services for John R. Mitchell, 39, who
passed away at Sabine clinic, Zwolle, Sunday morning, were held
Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Pruitt's Chapel, Hornbeck, with Rev.
James Hennigan, pastor of the Anacoco Pentecostal church
officiating, assisted by Rev. J. D. Wagnon, pastor of Zwolle
Baptist church.

  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emilee Maxwell Mitchell, one
son, Duane, both of Hornbeck; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Willie
Mitchell of Many; four sisters, Mrs. Charlie Gray of DeRidder,
Mrs. J. A. Robinson of Zwolle, Mrs. Woodrow Sherman of San
Augustine, Texas, Mrs. Louise Asby of California.

  Pallbearers were Troy Maxwell, Farrel Maxwell, J. A.
Robinson, Charles L. Gray, Jr., Woodrow Sherman, Tom Hildebrand,
Charles Jett and Galis Reed Smith.

  Interment was in the Pruitt's Chapel cemetery under
the direction of Hixon funeral home.
