Henry H. Mitchell

  Funeral services for Henry H. Mitchell, Sr., 84, of Hornbeck,
were held on Tuesday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m., at Prewitts Chapel
Baptist Church, with the Rev. F. M. Belcher, and the Rev. Leroy
Chance officiating. Burial was in the Prewitts Chapel Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mitchell died on Sunday, May 30, at 1:35 p.m., in Many,
following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mable Tynes Mitchell of
Hornbeck; five sons, Hoy, and Harvey Mitchell, both of Hornbeck,
Henry H. Mitchell Jr., Harold, and Jerry W. Mitchell, all of
Anacoco; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Yates of Anacoco, Mrs.
Delenith M. Monk, and Mrs. Judy West of Houston, and Mrs. Johnnie
Spears of Natchitoches; 17 grandchildren, and 8 great
grandchildren.
