The Sabine Index - Henry A. Mitchell

  1 Jul 1949 - Henry A. Mitchell, 53, passed away at the
veterans hospital in Alexandria Saturday June 18. Rev. Johnnie
Crockett conducted the funeral service at Shady Grove church at 3
p.m. June 19. Interment followed under direction Massingill
funeral home.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Isabel Mitchell,
Many; sons, Harvey, Beaumont, Texas and Ray of Many; daughters,
Mrs. Woodrof (sic) Hayes and Miss Dovie Mitchell, both of Many;
mother Mrs. Delie Mitchell, Fort Jesup; brothers, Louis of
Belmont, Wilford, Odie, Arvel and Artie, all of Fort Jesup;
sisters, Mrs. Alice Davis and Mrs. Jennie V. Knippers of
Hornbeck, Mrs. Mae Leggett and Mrs. Eddie Higgins, both of
Robeline and Mrs. Leona Knippers of Mt. Carmel community and one
grandchild.
