Gertie P. Mitchell

  Mrs. Gertie Peterson Mitchell, 74, of Many, died in the Heritage
Manor Nursing Home at 11:45 a.m., on Tuesday, May 12.

  Survivors include one son, Kenneth A. Peterson of Many; two
brothers, Wiley Flanagan, and Dutch Flanagan, both of Houston,
Tex.; two sisters, Mary Wright of Houston, Tex., and Sally Arthur
of Mansfield; and 13 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Pine Grove Cemetery, at 10
a.m., on Thursday, May 14. Officiating at the graveside services
was the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts. Burial followed the services, under
the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
