Harvey Mitchell

  Mr. Harvey Mitchell of Hornbeck, died at 5:30 p.m., Thursday,
Feb. 28, 1985, at his residence. He was 62 years old.

  Mr. Mitchell lay in state at the Gandy Baptist Church from 4:30
p.m., Friday, March 1, until services on Saturday, March 2.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m., with Rev. Kenneth Baggs, and
Rev. Lamon Carver officiating. Interment was at Prewitts Chapel
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many.

  Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Mitchell of
Hornbeck; three sons, Harvey Earl Mitchell of Alexandria, Kenneth
Muriel Mitchell of White City, La., and Michael Dale Mitchell of
Trout, La.; four brothers, Hoy Mitchell, and Henry H. Mitchell,
and Jerry Mitchell, all of Hornbeck, and Harrell Mitchell of
Anacoco; four sisters, Lois Yates of Anacoco, and Judy West,
Johnnie Spears, and Delenith Monk, all of Houston, Texas; and
seven grandchildren.
