All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Rosa Cranford Mitchell Mrs. Rosa Cranford Mitchell, 92, died at Sheridan Health Care Center in Waukegan, Illinois, on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1989, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mitchell was a native of, and spent her early life in Pleasant Hill, before moving to Beaumont, Tex. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill. Services were held at Spring Ridge Baptist Church in the Spring Ridge Community, on Monday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Charles Duncan, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was at Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Charles Barnett, and John Garland Mitchell; parents, Alan and Susan Cranford of Sabine Parish. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Irma and Kenneth Raymond of Waukegan, Ill.; two grandsons, John Austin Hanna and wife Sherry of Fredricksburg, Tex., and O. J. Hanna of Cayucos, California; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandsons.
