Mr. H. T. "Truly" Mitchell

  Services for Mr. H. T. "Truly" Mitchell, 71, of Natchitoches,
were held Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at 4 p.m., at Old Pisgah
Baptist Church near Marthaville.

  Officiating was James Wyatt. Interment was in Old Pisgah
Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home
of Natchitoches.

  Mr. Mitchell was a native of Robeline, and a resident of
Natchitoches. Mr. Mitchell was a retired pipeline maintenance man
for Tenneco, Natchitoches Plant.

  Survivors include his widow, Gracie M. Mitchell of Natchitoches;
two sons, Henry Douglas Mitchell of Natchitoches, and Cecil Ray
Mitchell Sr. of Provencal; 11 grandchildren; two step
grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two step great-great
grandchildren; one daughter, Kathy Diane Dove of Natchitoches.

  Pallbearers were Doug Mitchell Jr., Cecil Ray Mitchell Jr.,
Larry Smith, Frank Rhodes, Henry Burns, Bo Kelly (Honorary),
Michael Mitchell, Dewayne Megason, and Glen O'Bannon.
