John Elzy Mitchell

  John Elzy Mitchell, 84, of Many, died Sept. 16, in Many, after
an extended illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Sept. 17, in Prewitts Chapel,
with the Rev. Robert Graham officiating. Burial was in Prewitts
Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Izzie Mitchell of Many; a
brother, Raymond Mitchell of Mt. Carmel; one half sister, Mrs.
Minnie Porter of Mt. Carmel; seven grandchildren; and 13 great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Don Paur, Walter Chance, Pete Davis, M. C.
Eason, Arlie Mitchell, and Jerome Mitchell.
