Middleton Mrs. Olive Buvens Middleton, 89, of Many, died in Fraser Hospital on Tuesday, March 15, at 10 p.m., following an extended illness. Mrs. Middleton was the widow of the late Dr. J. M. Middleton of Many. They were married on Dec. 29, 1914. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church of Many, where she was the first and only graduate of the first graduating class of St. John's School. Survivors include one son, Charles Middleton of Baton Rouge; four daughters, Mrs. J. T. Ginn of Memphis, Tenn., Miss Ruth Middleton of Many, Miss Leella Middleton of Many, and Mrs. W. D. Truluck of Arcadia; one brother, R. H. Buvens of Riverside, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the St. John's Catholic Church of Many, at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 17. Father Gustav Bergeron officiated. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
