G. R. Middleton

  Funeral services for G. R. (Sug) Middleton, 85, were held
Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. The
Rev. Cecil Salley officiated at the services. Burial was in the
Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  Mr. Middleton died at his home, after a long illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Josie Post; one son, Marcus Post
Middleton of Shreveport; two daughters, Martha Payne, Longview,
Tex., and Sandra Bryan of Pleasant Hill; four sisters, Sallie
Winn of Marthaville, Loma Thompson of Shreveport; Audie Gowan of
Bossier City, and Erma Powell of Pleasant Hill; and seven
grandchildren.
