Rev. Guy L. Middleton

  Services for the Rev. Guy L. Middleton, 73, of Pelican, were
held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 25, at Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church. Officiating was the Rev. Tim Gillooly, and the Rev. Benny
Alford. Burial was in Ajax Cemetery.

  Rev. Middleton died Friday, September 23, 1983, in Shreveport. A
Baptist minister, he has served for several churches in DeSoto,
Sabine, and Natchitoches Parishes.

  Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Middleton; two sons, Jack of
Pelican, and A? of Queen, Tex.; two brothers, F. E. Middleton of
Houston, and E. E. Middleton of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Mrs.
E. C. Lewis of Coushatta; two grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.
