Officiating was Bro. Vernon Stephenson, assisted by Bro. Will Hanson of Bethany Baptist Church. Interment was at Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield. Mrs. Middleton passed away Monday, Oct. 28, at her residence. She was born in Oakwood, Tex., Leon County, to Clemmie Telford and John Sidney Post, on July 7, 1902. After her father's death, the family moved to Union County, Arkansas, where she grew up. She was a housewife, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, for 63 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. R. "Sug" Middleton; brothers, Riley Post, and Homer Post of El Dorado, Ark. She is survived by son, Marcus Post and wife Bobbie of Shreveport; daughters, Martha Payne and husband Bill of Longview, Tex., Sandra Bryan and husband Bill of Pleasant Hill; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
