Services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the Cotton Valley United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. M. C. Davidson officiating. Burial was in the Cotton Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Bailey Mortuary. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Connell of Shreveport, Mrs. Caudy Canter, and Mrs. Nelwyn McClar, both of Cotton Valley, and Mrs. Esther Avant of Pasadena, Tex.; four sons, Samuel G. Maddry of Ft. Stockton, Tex., D. Maddry of Lovington, N.M., Kenneth W. Maddry of Dry Prong, and Grady Maddry Jr. Of Cotton Valley; three sisters, Mrs. Rena Gibbs of Natchitoches, Mrs. Pearl Miller of Robeline, and Mrs. Margaret Hewneswander of Natchitoches; three brothers, L. L. Jeter of Goodrich, Tex., J. T. Jeter, and W. H. Jeter, both of Natchitoches; 20 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
