The Sabine Index - John Carter Mothershed

  1 Jun 1972 - John Carter Mothershed, 75, died Thursday, May 25.

  Funeral services were held Friday, May 26, at 10 a.m. in the Florien
Baptist Church with the Rev. Mack Brister officiating.  Burial was in
the Florien Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include two brothers, Ivy Mothershed and Ora Mothershed,
both of Florien; two sisters, Miss Lora Mothershed of Many and Mrs.
Zettie Gentry of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Leon Mothershed, Elson Mothershed, Ernest
Mothershed, Bernice Arthur, Edgar Arthur and Ottis Arthur.
