Jean Lawrence Mothershed

  28 Feb 1996 - Funeral services for Jean Lawrence Mothershed, 63,
were held February 23, 1996 at Mt. Carmel Baptist church, with
interment following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Rev. Larry DeLoach
officiated.

  Mrs. Mothershed died February 21, 1996 at Willis Knighton
Hospital in Shreveport. She was born July 19, 1932 to Rose Muse
and Eugene Lawrence. She was a well known local artist and part
owner of "Grandma's Trunk".

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ponder Leon
Mothershed.

  Mrs. Mothershed was survived by five children, Steve Mothershed
of Noble; Louise Thaxton, Elizabeth Self, Juanita Miller and
Karen Lee, all of Florien; eleven grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Rayford West, Willie Self, Jerry Miller, Virgil
Harrel, Kenny Harrel, Lawrence Harrel.
