Mr. Ernest A. Mothershed

  20 Aug 1997 - Mr. Ernest A. Mothershed, 73, of Nederland, Texas
died Wednesday, July 23, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland,
Texas.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Pat A. Riley
Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with burial at Memory Gardens
Cemetery.

  A native of Florien, he lived in the Nederland, Texas, Port
Arthur, Texas area more than 50 years and was a retired
supervisor for Texaco, Inc. He was a World War II U.S. Army
Veteran.

  Survivors include four daughters, Kathy Bankert of Nederland,
Texas, Rhonda Orazio, and Lisa Sass, both of Houston, Texas, and
Johanna Westermeyer of Deer Park, Texas; one son, Raymond
Commander of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Nelwyn Barbier of
LaMarque and Maxine Isles of Lake Charles; and five
grandchildren.
