Officiating was the Rev. Jack Johnson. Burial followed in the Cotton Valley Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bailey Mortuary in Cotton Valley. Mrs. Malley, a native, and lifelong resident of Cotton Valley, passed away Friday, November 17, in Shreveport, after a long illness. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Herschel S. Malley of Cotton Valley; two daughters, Ruth Paine of Blanchard, and Linda Bissell of Natchitoches; two sons, Gerald Malley of Many, and Kenneth Malley of Sour Lake, Texas; four sisters, Edythe White of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Birma Barrett of Bernice, Shirley Howard of Sarepta, and Sue Woodruff of Shreveport; four brothers, Richard Cox, and L. C. Cox Jr., both of West Monroe, O. D. Cox of Minden, and Willard Cox of Cotton Valley; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Johnny Paine, Ted Kapera, Mark Kapera, Jeff Malley, Jason Malley, Jeremy Malley, and Jarrod Malley.
