Mrs. Helen Dewey Miles

  Mrs. Helen Dewey Miles, 85, of Pleasant Hill, expired in the
Pleasant Hill General Hospital on Friday, August 9, 1985, at 2:15
a.m.

  Services were held in the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill
on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. Rev. Gayle Dean officiated the
ceremony. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, following the
ceremony.

  Surviving relatives include two sons, Francis Ford of Buras, and
Thurman Ford of Pleasant Hill; three daughters, Joyce Tanner,
Lois Miles, both of Pleasant Hill, and Beverly Chapman of St.
Augustine, Fla.; three stepchildren, Elizabeth Dorsay of Belmont,
Alene Brown of Sanderson, Fla., and Charles Miles of
Natchitoches; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

  Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
