Andrew M. Miles

  Andrew M. Miles, 56, 26350 W. Hwy. 58, of Barstow, Calif., died
Sept. 28, at a local hospital.

  He was a native of Alabama, and had resided eight years in the
desert area. He was employed as a salesman at Dee Motor Company,
and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army.

  Survivors include the widow, Winifred V. of the family home; a
son, James, Barstow, Calif.; daughter, Mrs. Sandra L. Schneider,
San Diego, Calif.; a brother, W. B. Miles, Merced; and a sister,
Beatrice, Bouler, Tenn.

  Services were at 10 a.m., Oct. 2, at Mead Mortuary Chapel.
Officiating was the Rev. Walter J. Vrudney, post chaplain at Ft.
Irwin.

  Full military honors were held at graveside, at Mt. View
Cemetery, Barstow.
