George Mallett Sr.

  George Henderson Mallett Sr., 87, of Marthaville, died
Wednesday, May 30, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after a
long illness.

  Services was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 31, in Beulah
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Floyd McCarty officiating. Burial
followed in the church cemetery.

  Survivors include one son, George Mallett Jr. of Natchitoches;
two daughters, Emily Berry of Natchitoches, and Patsy Parrick of
Bossier City; three sisters, Susie Coats of Hanna, Amanda Burr,
and Mae Winn, both of Marthaville; nine grandchildren; and 12
great grandchildren.
