Mallet, 82, a resident of Marthaville, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1962, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Peterson in Zwolle. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m., at the Beulah Methodist Church near Marthaville, with the pastor, the Rev. Robert D. Meyers officiating, assisted by the Rev. Earl George, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home. Pallbearers were her nephews, Ray Wells, Don Wells, Wilmer Powell, Lawrence Wells, Jack, and Ellis Anderson. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Peterson of Zwolle; nine brothers, John Wells of Shreveport, Jack Wells of Marthaville, Oscar, Arthur, Roy, Albert, Jesse, and Wesley Wells, all of Pleasant Hill, and Alvin Wells of Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. Corene Howell of Royce City, Tex., Mrs. Irene Harper of Shreveport, and Mrs. May Powell of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Mrs. Dorothy Seabaugh of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Peggy Nigreville of Zwolle; five great grandchildren, Dale, Denise, Dona, and Kimberly Seabaugh of Houston, and Robert Anthony Peterson of Zwolle.
