A. Hospital in Shreveport on Wednesday, June 25, at 10:50 a.m., following a short illness. Malmay is survived by two sons, Joseph Malmay, and William Malmay, both of Shreveport; six brothers, J. C. Malmay of New Orleans, Thomas Malmay of Port Arthur, Tex., Rufus Malmay of Vivian, Robert W. Malmay, Virgil Malmay, and James C. Malmay, all of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. C. D. Ely, and Miss Helen Malmay, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Angeline Ebarb of Bossier City; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Zwolle on Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m., with the Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jack Lafitte, Earl Malmay, Relon Happond, Jerry Garcie, Charles Sepulvado, and Joseph G. Ebarb.
