Merlin Liverman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Vivian, assisting. Burial was in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Vivian. The Noble native died Friday, July 15, in Veterans Administration Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a 20-year resident of Vivian, a retired maintenance engineer, a veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Clements Catholic Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lettie H. Malmay; three sisters, Mrs. Angeline Ebarb of Bossier City, Mrs. Maggie Ely, and Helen Malmay, both of Shreveport; five brothers, James C. Malmay, Virgle F. Malmay, Robert W. Malmay, all of Shreveport, Joseph C. Malmay of New Orleans, and Thomas J. Malmay of Port Neches, Tex.
