Rufus Malmay

  Services for Rufus Malmay, 62, of Vivian, were held at 2 p.m.,
Monday, July 18, at the McGuire Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian,
with Father John Kiley of St. Clements Catholic Church,
officiating, and the Rev. Merlin Liverman, pastor of First
Baptist Church of Vivian, assisting. Burial was in Chapelwood
Memorial Gardens in Vivian.

  The Noble native died Friday, July 15, in Veterans
Administration Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a
20-year resident of Vivian, a retired maintenance engineer, a
veteran of World War II, and a member of St. Clements Catholic
Church.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lettie H. Malmay; three
sisters, Mrs. Angeline Ebarb of Bossier City, Mrs. Maggie Ely,
and Helen Malmay, both of Shreveport; five brothers, James C.
Malmay, Virgle F. Malmay, Robert W. Malmay, all of Shreveport,
Joseph C. Malmay of New Orleans, and Thomas J. Malmay of Port
Neches, Tex.
