John Malmay

  John Malmay of Noble, died Sunday, July 4, at 2:30 a.m.,
following a short illness. He was 100.

  Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on
Monday, July 5, at 4 p.m., with Msgr. Matthew Scanlon
officiating. Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by three sons, Monroe Malmay of West Monroe, and
Earl Malmay, and John W. Malmay, both of Noble; four daughters,
Pearl Malmay of Noble, Pauline Richardson of Keithville, and
Verna Brewer, and Alberta Rains, both of Shreveport; 25
grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; and five great-great
grandchildren.
