Funeral services for Ed (Po Po) Malmay, 78, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday April 13, 1993, in Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating was Monsignor Carson LaCaze, pastor of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Burial was at Forest Park West. Mr. Malmay died Saturday, April 10, 1993, at Willis-Knighton South, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Zwolle, La., and a resident of Keithville, La., for the past 14 years. He was a retired logger, and a member of St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church. Mr. Malmay is survived by two sons, Eddie Malmay and wife Alice, and Thomas "T. J." Malmay and wife Barbara, all of Zwolle; three daughters, Elouise Malmay of Many, Lavern Matthews and husband Tony of Zwolle, and Lois Malmay of Keithville; one brother, Albert Malmay of Zwolle; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dean Malmay, Pat Malmay, Joe Malmay, Danny Matthews, Mark Matthews, and Tony Matthews.
