Officiating were Father Kenneth Williams, and the Rev. Jerry Penfield. Interment was in St. Ann's Catholic Church Cemetery. Mr. Malmay died Sept. 2, 1995, in a pedestrian/automobile accident in Blue Lake Community. Dean was born in Many, December 1, 1966, to Gloria Sue O'Banion and Eddie Malmay Jr. Dean was a graduate of Zwolle High School, and was a logger. Survivors are his widow, Jearline Sepulvado Malmay of Many; one daughter, Brittany Malmay of Many; one stepdaughter, Amber Sepulvado of Many; father and stepmother, Eddie and Alice Malmay of Zwolle; mother, Gloria Buckner of Hemphill; and one sister, Tina Lynn Malmay of Hemphill; one brother, Michael Aaron Malmay of Zwolle; stepbrother, Clint Wells of Mansfield; maternal grandmothers, Susie O'Banion of Hemphill; paternal grandmother and step grandfather, Ethel and Louis Skinner of Many. Pallbearers were Jimmy Huffman, Carl Webb Jr., Max Webb, Joe D. Abant, Pat Malmay, and Joe Malmay.
