Ivy Davis Miller

  Mr. Ivy Davis Miller, 84, of Florien died on Sunday, Jan 4, at the
Fraser Hospital North at 6:15 following a short illness.

  Funeral services were held at Antioch Baptist Church on Tuesday,
Jan 6, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bud McCoullough, Rev. J. P. King, and Rev.
M. A. Neely officiating.

  Pallbearers were M. A. Gore, V. L. Leach, Larry Mller, Jimmy Salter,
Charlie Pugh, Tom Langton, Ted Miller, John Crunk, and Charles
Van Veckhoven.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Tincy Miller of Florien, one
daughter, Evelyn Firesheets of Florien, two brothers; Otis Miller of
Many, and Grover Miller of New Iberia, two sisters; Gladys Taylor of
Anacoco and Joy Van Veckhoven of Florien, five grandchildren; Connie
Rider, Bells, Tex, Carolyn Lewis and Cheryl Firesheets both of
Denison, Tex., Frances Dahlem of Many, and William Davis Firesheets
of Florien, and two great-grandchildren.
