Mr. Delos Floyd Miller

  Mr. Delos Floyd Miller was born March 28, 1906 in Sabine Parish to James W.
and Epsie Corley Miller. He passed away Saturday, Nov. 1 at the age of 91 in
Shreveport, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 3 at Antioch Baptist Church in
Florien. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery.

  He and Gertharie Miller were joined in marriage on March 30, 1940 in Sabine
Parish. To this union five children were born. They lived most of their lives
in Florien.

  Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers four sisters;
and one grandson, Shelton Lynn Stark. He is survived by his widow of 57 years,
Gertharie Miller; four daughters, Shirley Chrism and husband, Clarence of
Shreveport, Gail Downs and husband, J. C. of Florien, Peggy Stark and husband,
Robert of Florien, and Glenda Chism and husband, Charles of Florien; one son,
Leonard Miller and wife, Augerine of Zwolle; one sister, Faye Campbell of Many;
eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were Darrel Chism, Donald Wayne Downs, Windell Costella, Ralph
Jordan, Dale Phillips and Gary Mayfield. Honorary pallbearers were R. T. Miller
Reo Wright, M. G. Anthony Mervin Watkins
