The Sabine Index - Grace Corley Miller

  17 Aug 1972 - Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Corley Miller, 62,
of Florien, were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Ebenezer Baptist
Church with Rev. Earl Marr and Rev. V. L. Pruitt officiating.
Interment was in the Florien Cemetery under the direction of Warren
Meadow's Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Miller, a native of Sabine Parish, died Friday, August 11,
in the Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home.  She was married to the
late Othal D. Miller.  She was known and loved as Miss Grace to
many music pupils throughout the parish.

  Survivors are two brothers and one sister, Bernice Corley of
Natchitoches, Rufus Corley of Mt. Carmel, and Truie Jones of
Patterson, Louisiana.  Eleven nieces and seven nephews along with
a host of friends also survive.

  Pallbearers were Ben D. Peterson, Conrad Cathey, Alton Mothershed,
James Corley, Clayton Corley and Wingate Dowden.
