Charles Raymond Miller, 24, was at Beulah 10 a.m. Tuesday. Last rites were conducted by Rev. Charles S. Miers, pastor First Baptist church, Many. Interment followed under direction of Massingill funeral home. Military honors at the grave were in charge of members of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Sgt. Miller was killed on the island of Luzon in the Philippines Jan. 13, 1945. Surviving relatives include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Miller, Many, Rt. 1; brothers, Force, James and Billy Ray of Many, Herbert of Jasper, Texas; sisters, Mrs. Ruby Anthony and Miss Gail Miller, both of Many; grandfather, William Murphey.
