All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Alvin Miller 22 Sep 1939 - Alvin Miller, who has been a resident of Beaumont, Texas, the past few years, died in a Beaumont hospital Sept. 12 after a long illness. He had been in the hospital for more than a year. Funeral services were held at Bruin & Pipin funeral parlors of Beaumont Sept. 13 at 3 p.m. Interment followed in a Beaumont Cemetery. Mr. Miller leaves six children, four brothers and three sisters to mourn his death, as well as a host of friends and loved ones. His brothers and sisters are: N. A. Miller, J. D. Miller and B. M. Miller of Florien, Mrs. C. B. Miller of Dess, Edith Hook of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Travis of Beaumont, Texas, Julian Miller of Port Arthur, Texas. Those from Many going to the funeral were his brother, B. M. Miller, brother's wife, Mrs. N. A. Miller; niece and nephew, Osborn Miller and Mrs. Adam Key.
