The Sabine Index - Mrs. Hattie L. Miller

  4 Sep 1975 - Mrs. Hattie L. Miller, 86, of Florien, died
Saturday, Aug 30, following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Miller is survived by four daughters, Lovie Bush, Dolly
Peterson and Georgia Davis, all of Florien and Doris Wright of
Negreet; two sons, James A. Miller of Groves, Tex., and B.F.
Miller of Florien; three sisters, Josie Salter and Pearl Wright,
both of Many, and Curtie Salter of Florien; 18 grandchildren and
33 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Ebenezer Baptist Church on
Monday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. The Rev. F. W. Cory, the Rev. Harold
Pittman and the Rev. Joe Shaver officiated.

  Pallbearers were Henry Lee Davis, J. A. Miller, Jr., Palmer
Miller, Roger Miller, Dennis Wright, Robert Dale Geoghagan,
Donald Bush,and Ben D. Peterson. Burial was in the Ebenezer
Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
