The Sabine Index - George Davis Miller

  14 May 1965 - Funeral services were held May 9 for George
Davis Miller, 88, in the Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev.
Frank Chance officiating. He died May 9 in Florien due to an
extended illness.

  Burial was held in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home. His grandsons were the pallbearers.

  He is survived by 1 son, Talmadge Miller of Valdosta, Ga.;
two daughters, Mrs. Rolly Miller and Mrs. Luther Funderburk of
Florien; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Cook, Mrs. Carrie Wright, Mrs.
Alice Cook, Miss Minnie Miller and Mrs. Emma Lowe all of Florien;
and 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
