The Sabine Index - John Z. Miller

  30 May 1952 - Funeral rites for John Z. Miller, 79, who
passed away 7:35 a.m. Friday, were conducted 10 a.m. Sunday at
Ebenezer Baptist Church by Revs. L. B. Ritchie and George
Leysath. Interment followed under direction of Warren funeral
home.

  Pallbearers were Horace Tompkins, Clayton Miller, Jack House,
Lewis House, Herbert Small and Willard Taylor.

  Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs Alice
Miller Florien: sons, Leon and Cecil Ray Miller, and Bill Miller
of Leesville; daughters, Mrs. Cleo Manan, Dallas, Texas, Mrs.
Nathan Westbrook, Live Oak, Fla. nine grandchildren and a
great-grandchild.
