The Sabine Index - Paton L. Miller

  4 Jan 1952 - Funeral rites for Paton L. Miller, 57, who
passed away at his home near Florien after an extended illness
Thursday of last week, were conducted 10 a.m., Friday at Antioch
Baptist church. Interment was under direction of Warren funeral
home.

  Pallbearers were Howard Anthony, Doyle Quarles, L. L. Curtis,
Roy Jordan, M. G. Anthony and Ponder Salter.

  Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Clara
Miller, Florien: mother Harriet Thornton, Florien: daughters, Mrs
J. D. Salter, Mrs. Travis Miller, both of Florien, Mrs Ben Bob
Cleveland, DeQuincy, Miss Ruth Miller, Lake Charles, Mrs. J. W.
Webb, Jr., Shreveport: brothers Willie and Ivy D. Miller, both of
Florien, Mrs. Montie Miller, Logansport, Mrs Cora Self,
Smackover, Ark. and five grandchildren.
